
Jamie's traditional wine making experience provides him with solid insights to explore approaches to improve the quality and consistency of the wine he creates. Smart, impassioned and vigilant about wine making, Jamie decided to go it alone and create his own winery called The Ice House Winery, based on his belief that Canadian Icewine is the gem that could put Canada on the international map like no other wine could. His early training in France inspired him to work with his own roots and find the vineyards in the Niagara region that support this belief.
